Nowra Court House

ARTAS Architects were engaged by the NSW Department of Justice to design, document and provide advice during construction services refurbishment and BCA upgrade works at the heritage listed Nowra Court House.

As part of the project we were required to upgrade the access to and within the building to achieve compliance with the current codes and standards. Front of house and back of house facilities were upgrade and a new court added while existing court spaces were refurbished and upgraded. The development included upgrades to the latest in courtroom technology and security.
