Located within Tasmania’s largest cross laminated timber structure (CLT), the new Bank of Us Headquarters in Launceston has been thoughtfully designed to reflect and enhance both the character of the base building and the client’s brand identity.

Facilitating the organisation’s unique ‘desk for a day’ working model –  where staff in all roles and levels – book available workstations on a daily basis, the fit-out includes a diverse range of workspace types to accommodate different working styles and tasks, including:

• Open-plan workstations
• Single-occupancy pods
• Individual and small team focus rooms
• An elevated workbench
• A designated quiet zone

To support this flexible approach to in-office work, a variety of shared amenity spaces have also been incorporated, including a kitchen hub, library, wellness room and casual breakout areas.

The material palette developed by the ARTAS Interior Design Team features natural finishes, muted tones with pops of colour, exposed services and extensive greenery, creating a warm and contemporary workplace that promotes wellbeing and flexibility.
