TasTAFE Alanvale Campus Redevelopment

ARTAS are engaged by TasTAFE and the Department of Education for the expansion to the TasTAFE Alanvale site.

Stage 1 of this project includes a new nursing, aged care and disability training facility, including workplace simulation rooms designed to resemble real hospitals and aged care facilities. Also included in this stage is an upgrade of the information technology computer labs.

Stage 2 of this project includes an expanded library, new student lounge and café, classroom and amenities upgrades and additional on-campus parking.

The warm and inviting colour palette made up of orange and red tones in alignment with the TasTAFE logo also stimulate creativity and encourage strength, warmth and personality.

“The redevelopment of Alanvale Campus will provide TasTAFE students with modern, industry-standard training facilities as well as redeveloped spaces that will enhance their overall on-campus experience’’ Education Minister Jeremy Rockliff told the Examiner on 18 July 2020.
