The LGH Multistorey Car Park is a major new parking facility being delivered to improve access to the Launceston General Hospital for patients, visitors and staff. The seven‑storey structure will provide 474 parking spaces, including accessible bays, motorcycle parking, secure bicycle storage and electric vehicle fast‑charging facilities.

Located on the corner of Charles and Howick Streets, the project responds to parking and circulation priorities identified in the LGH Masterplan. Construction is being delivered in stages to enable early access to parking on the lower levels, with the remaining works completed progressively.

Delivered as part of the ongoing investment in hospital infrastructure, the ARTAS‑designed car park is currently under construction, with the lower levels expected to open in mid‑2027 and full completion by the end of 2027.
