Kings Meadows Community Health Centre Redevelopment
The Kings Meadows Community Health Centre redevelopment is delivering a new, purpose‑built Renal Health Unit to support renal dialysis services in Northern Tasmania. Developed through consultation with health service providers, patients, carers and community representatives, the project has been shaped to support both clinical care and patient wellbeing.
The new facility will increase treatment capacity from 15 to 18 dialysis bays and provide contemporary clinical and staff spaces, connections to the existing Community Health Centre, and improved access across the site. The original Joan Marshall building name will be retained as part of the redevelopment.
Designed with a strong focus on patient experience, accessibility and care close to home, the ARTAS‑designed facility is currently under construction and expected to be completed by late 2026.
