St Giles Southern Facility
Creation of a new St Giles therapy centre for the delivery of allied health and family support services in southern Tasmania. Children/teens with severe disabilities such as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, down syndrome and autism are the major users of the service. The centre was specially designed for physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and visiting paediatric specialists to deliver family centred therapies to clients aged from birth to 18 years. Specialist therapy spaces include large treatment rooms, group rooms, gymnasium, undercover running track and observation rooms.
