Dial Regional Sports Complex
Completed in March 2018, this major redevelopment by the Central Coast Council integrated the users of the Penguin Recreation Grounds with existing users of Dial Regional Sports Complex to increase the standards available for these sporting codes and their spectators. The development also provides improved facilities and opportunities for a number of other potential sport, recreation and community users, ensuring the facility will meet the growing needs of the area.
The new Pavilion at Dial Sports Complex consists of:
- Large Function room space (302.29m2 ) with glass fronted views to the main oval, secondary oval and the coastline
- Players facilities consisting of change rooms, trainers rooms, medical room, gym as well as coaches & umpire boxes
- Undercover Grandstand seating.
- Centrally positioned bar area to service function room
- Dedicated Canteen and Kitchen
- Four separate viewing boxes for officials
- Separate meeting room/coaches room
Other new works at the site include:
- Two new sports ovals sized to suit regional standard football and cricket.
- Approximately 234 additional car parking spaces.
- Dedicated area for cricket practice nets and future indoor cricket areas.
- Dedicated four bay storage shed for clubs.
- New Lighting for ovals.
- Public space and link way with picnic areas and BBQ facilities & playground.
