The Glenorchy Sports Centre is a new, purpose‑built community sport and recreation facility serving Hobart’s northern suburbs. Located at the entrance to Claremont College, the project has been developed through consultation with sporting organisations, local clubs and disability groups to reflect the needs of the people who will use it.

The facility will include four indoor multisport courts, including a show court, spectator seating, and spaces for a wide range of sports, including wheelchair sports. Supporting amenities include meeting spaces, changerooms, wellbeing areas, parent and sensory rooms, secure storage and a registered Changing Places facility.

Designed with accessibility and inclusion in mind, the ARTAS‑designed facility is currently under construction and scheduled for completion in 2027.
