ARTAS and dwp partnered to redevelop Tasmania’s $30 million Bellerive Oval (now Ninja Stadium) for Cricket Tasmania. Completed in 2015, the redevelopment included; increased seating capacity, improved pedestrian access and safety, upgrades to the members stand and an elite training / rehabilitation facility.

The design aimed to maximise the use of existing structures and embrace the philosophy of community sport. The upgraded arena caters to events of varying scales,  from local games to national and international cricket and AFL matches.

A sense of community and safety was central to the development, with significant upgrades to the public entry ways included providing safe areas for crowds to congregate. New infrastructure was limited to the eastern side of the ground, with the elite facility housed in refurbished existing structures.
