Tree Tops Residence

The ‘Treetops’ residence located in natural bush land in Toowong has been designed as an ‘urban lifestyle that embraces the natural bush land setting’.

The estate includes a detailed design covenant from the previous Council’s site subdivision approval which provides strict controls on building sitting, materials, setbacks, heights, etc. The residence was designed to ‘touch the ground lightly’ to encourage appropriate construction methods, material use and provide an enhanced amenity of the surrounding environment. The elevated swimming pool and potential to view the residence from underneath, allowed for careful consideration of the architectural/structural supports, mimicking the adjacent tree branches.

The ‘Treetops’ Residence has been included in the Brisbane News Top 10 Houses of 2012.
